1. Grantmaking

2. Local Grantmakers (LGMs)

8. Digital Divide

  • Definition: The gap between those who have ready access to computers and the internet, and those who do not, often due to differences in socio-economic status, geographical location, or education.

9. Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs)

  • Definition: Collaborative arrangements between government agencies and private sector entities for the purpose of financing, designing, implementing, and operating projects and services traditionally provided by the public sector.

10. Impact Assessment

  • Definition: The process of identifying the anticipated or actual impacts of a project or program, both positive and negative, as a basis for future improvement and decision-making.

11. Inclusive Education

  • Definition: An approach to education that seeks to ensure that all students, regardless of their background or abilities, have the right to a quality education that meets their individual needs.

12. EdTech (Educational Technology)

  • Definition: The combined use of computer hardware, software, and educational theory and practice to facilitate learning.

13. Logic Model

  • Definition: A tool used in program planning and evaluation to visually represent the relationships among the resources, activities, outputs, and outcomes of a program.

14. Theory of Change

  • Definition: A comprehensive description and illustration of how and why a desired change is expected to happen in a particular context, outlining the causal linkages.

15. Scalability

  • Definition: The ability of a program or project to expand in scope or size, to serve a larger population or geographical area, while maintaining effectiveness.
